Works
Overview

Award winning artist Andrew Barrowman works predominantly in oils, and occasionally with Casien paint, charcoal, pastel and egg tempera. As a committed sketcher and plein-air painter he works outdoors in all weathers, making figurative works inspired by the Cornish landscape throughout the seasons. In 2021 he published his first book, Views from the Studio Window, featuring 120 oil studies of the view from his studio at Krowji in Redruth. He won The Bowyer Drawing Prize that same year, and in 2023 was elected as an Associate Member of the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists, and a Member of the Pastel Society. Andrew exhibits regularly with the RBSA, the New English Art Club, The Drawing Society and The Pastel Society in Mall Galleries London.
